* JOB SUMMARY.

WALDORF ASTORIA HOTELS & RESORTS BERLIN is seeking Receptionists, Front Desk Supervisors, and other Administrative Assistants to join the full-time team! Due to an increase in guests and clients from other countries, we need employees who can speak either Spanish, Italian, English or Portuguese.

* TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE.

- People who have good knowledge in one or two of these languages / Spanish, Italian or Portuguese.
- The German language is not required for this position, but the English language may be an advantage.

* ABOUT THE ROLE (For Spanish, Italian, English and Portuguese speakers).

- Process all guest entries, verify guest identity, form of payment, room assignment, and room key activation/issuance.
- Set up precise accounts for each guest according to your requirements.
- Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions.
- Secure payment prior to the issuance of the room key, billing verification/adjustment.
- Compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists.
- Full cash and closing reports.
- Provide guests with directions and property information.
- Address guest requests, contacting the appropriate staff if necessary.
- Follow-up to ensure that requests have been met.
- Process all types of payment, vouchers, payments and charges.
- Balance and fall of receipts.
- Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theft by guests.
