By designing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), AeroDrone enables farmers to implement innovative precision agriculture techniques, such as fast and efficient delivery of crop protection services. This approach supports efforts to combat famine and increase food production amidst growing global demand and agricultural challenges. With 8 years of research and development, AeroDrone has created UAV prototypes for crop protection, targeting farmers in developed markets across 13.8 million square kilometers of arable land globally.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Kyiv for a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in UAVs and airframe design. The role involves developing, designing, and optimizing airframe components for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The engineer will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure innovative, functional, and efficient designs. Responsibilities include utilizing state-of-the-art Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, conducting mechanical analyses, and contributing to the prototyping and testing of UAV systems.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Design Engineering, Product Design, and Machine Design
- Strong background in Mechanical Engineering with knowledge of materials and structural analysis
- Proficiency in Solidworks and related design software
- Experience with UAV development and airframe design is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
