We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Communicator for our client. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills, as well as a strong technical background. As a Technical Communicator, you will be responsible for creating developer-focused content, documenting APIs, and managing documentation projects in an agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality technical documentation for our products, including API documentation, developer guides, and release notes.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deeply understand the technical aspects of our products.
• Utilize development tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Visual Studio Code to document code and collaborate with development teams.
• Use standard web-based publishing tools such as Markdown and HTML to create and publish documentation.
• Manage documentation projects in an agile, fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery of accurate and comprehensive documentation.
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to improve information architecture and content strategies.
• Provide input on UI copy and contribute to improving the overall user experience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in technical writing, with a minimum of 3 years in documentation projects.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and experience documenting APIs.
• Proficiency in development tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Visual Studio Code.
• Familiarity with standard web-based publishing tools such as Markdown and HTML.
• Experience working in and managing documentation projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Middle/Senior Technical Communicators

in Ukraine or Poland for 2-3 months assignment.The requirements are the following:
- great writing and communication skills
- the ability to deeply understand the technical aspects of the product and produce developer-focused content
- experience in documenting and using APIs
- experience in using development tools (Git, Bitbucket, Visual Studio Code)
- familiarity with standard web-based publishing tools (Markdown, HTML, etc.)
- experience working in and managing documentation projects in an agile, fast-paced environment
Ideally, we hope youd have:
- experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams including designers, developers, product managers, analysts, marketing, and customer support teams
- experience in improving or building information architecture and content strategies
- bonus points if you were working with the UI copy
