- Enhance and optimize the search algorithms on our e-commerce platform.
- Conduct extensive data analysis in columnar databases such as ClickHouse and utilize tools like Tableau for visual analytics.
- Apply simulation modeling techniques for robust hypothesis testing.
- Develop and test models to improve system functionalities and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate system improvements effectively.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Experience in developing and optimizing models for e-commerce or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in managing large datasets in columnar databases (e.g., ClickHouse).
- Proficient in simulation and statistical modeling techniques.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and algorithm design.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with statistical programming.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Knowledge of Real-Time Bidding (RTB) systems and full-text search implementations.
- Experience with additional programming languages or analytics tools.
- Experience with Pandas, R, and other popular analytical frameworks.
