    Since the beginning of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, UNICEF has been working to implement key commitments to meet the humanitarian needs of children, in particular access to education and psychological assistance, and the creation of comfortable conditions for the life of every child. In this regard, UNICEF is actively cooperating with the central executive authorities of Ukraine, including the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

    Since February 24, 2022, when the Russian Federation launched a full-scale war in Ukraine, the majority of the population of Ukraine has been displaced within the country or beyond its borders. Thus, most families with children have lost the opportunity to receive offline social services. The need of Ukrainian families to receive social services online has significantly increased.

    To ensure all the rights and needs of children during the war in Ukraine, UNICEF began working to support the development of digital trends in the social sphere, including through support from the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

    UNICEF is looking for a consultant to support Social Policy section and Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine in the development of the digital direction for social sphere.

    Primary tasks:

  • Support for the development of the digital direction of the social sphere, taking into account the specifics of UNICEF's work in Ukraine
  • Analysis of IT companies that operate in Ukraine and formulation of opportunities for using digital teams for digital projects in the social sphere, taking into account the specifics of UNICEF's work in Ukraine
  • Coordination and monitoring of the work of the digital team of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine
  • Coordination and monitoring of the implementation of digital projects for the social sector, which are funded with the support of UNICEF
  • Analysis of the possibility of transferring ownership of IT products developed with the support of UNICEF to the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine
  • To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have...

    Education:

  • Master's degree in C Project management, public management and administration, and any other related fields. .
  • Professional experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience of work in government or experience in implementing business projects;
  • Successful cases of project implementation for the public or private sector;
  • Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Languages:

  • Ukrainian: Proficient/Native [C2];
  • English: Upper-Intermediate [B2].
